Turbidity / Biomass Calibration

Calibrate the TS-300B turbidity sensor and set the NTU-to-biomass conversion factor for your Spirulina strain.

Step 1 — Clean Water Calibration (TC)

Place the turbidity probe in clean or distilled water, then press the button below. The ESP32 will save the clean-water voltage as the zero reference point. After this step, the system enters RTI mode (Relative Turbidity Index, 0–100 scale).

The probe must be submerged in clean water when you press this button.

Step 2 — Reference Calibration (TR)

Place the probe in a solution with a known NTU value (e.g. Formazin standard), enter the certified NTU value below, then press calibrate. This switches the system from RTI mode to full NTU mode with absolute readings.

UNCAL No calibration done yet. Readings are raw and unreliable.

RTI Relative Turbidity Index (0–100). Clean water calibrated, no absolute NTU reference yet.

NTU Full NTU mode. Both clean water and reference calibrated. Absolute turbidity readings.

Biomass Density Conversion Factor

Regression coefficient K (g·L⁻¹·NTU⁻¹). Default: 0.000420 for Spirulina platensis.

Light Extinction Coefficient Kₓ

Beer-Lambert attenuation coefficient (m⁻¹ NTU⁻¹). Controls how quickly light fades with depth. Default: 0.0800 for Spirulina platensis trichomes. Increase for denser or larger-spiral strains.

Wi-Fi & Device Network

If you change your Wi-Fi password, the ESP32 will lose connection. Use the built-in Access Point to reconfigure.

AP Name: EnerGreen-Setup

Hold the BOOT button on the ESP32 for 3 seconds at startup.
The device opens a Wi-Fi hotspot named "EnerGreen-Setup" (open, no password).
Connect your phone or laptop to that hotspot. A configuration page opens automatically.
Enter your new Wi-Fi SSID and password, then save. The ESP32 reboots and reconnects.

Remote Reset (Cloud Command)

If the device is currently online, send a cloud command to restart its Wi-Fi configuration portal remotely.
